# Check one order before the next send

The free [order check](/check) tests one order or one limits file. It does not watch the next send. Run it on one real order from the agent before you arm anything else.

A cap that lives only in the prompt is not a cap the checker can read. Put the number in the limits file the checker reads, then run the check again.
