Education only, not advice

The Agentic Trader publishes educational material about organizing AI agents around a trader's own research, risk and review process. Nothing on this site, in our skill packs, desk packs, newsletter, emails or social posts is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any security, derivative, cryptocurrency or other instrument. We are not a broker-dealer, registered investment adviser, commodity trading advisor or commodity pool operator, and we do not manage money or place orders for anyone. Talk to a licensed professional about your own situation.

Trading and automation risk

Trading stocks, options, futures and crypto can lose you some or all of your capital, and leveraged products can lose more than you put in. Only trade with money you can afford to lose. Automated and agent-run trading adds its own risks: models can invent facts, misread data or act on stale prices; software, connections, brokers and data feeds fail; and an automated system can repeat a mistake many times before a person notices. Test any agent in paper or simulated trading first, set hard limits the agent cannot change, keep a kill switch you control, and watch it. You are responsible for every order your agents place.

Past and hypothetical results

Past performance does not guarantee or predict future results. Any examples, case studies, backtests or paper-trading results we describe are illustrative. Hypothetical or simulated results have inherent limitations: unlike an actual performance record, they do not represent actual trading; because the trades were not executed, they may under- or over-compensate for market factors such as liquidity, slippage and costs; and they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. Case studies are anonymized descriptions of process, not performance claims.

No broker or platform relationships

The Agentic Trader has no business relationship with, and receives no compensation from, any broker, exchange or trading platform. Mentioning a tool, broker or platform is not an endorsement. If that ever changes (for example, a sponsorship), we will label it clearly where it appears.

Accuracy

We work to keep content accurate, but it may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and AI-generated output in particular must be verified. Content is provided "as is" without warranties.
