Copy-paste AI trading prompts
What are copy-paste AI trading prompts?
A copy-paste AI trading prompt is a block you paste into an agent for one job: research, a pre-trade check, a paper order you review, a journal note, a risk-rule read, or a kill-switch check. None of these prompts tells the agent to send a live order on its own. You approve any order, and you start on paper.

Paste a proposed order into Agent Order Check before you approve it. That page says the check runs in your browser and the order is not sent. The kill switch guide says a kill switch is a control the agent can read and cannot write. What a paper host leaves out is on the paper trading guide. The public agent-order-check README says the package uses the rules on Agent Order Check, adds no trading rule, and does not place an order. A pass says nothing about whether the trade is a good idea. The switch sits outside the agent. This page names no broker.
Research brief
For a sourced list of what changed. The agent stops before any order.
Stage: research. No orders and no trade plans.
Universe: [symbols I name]. Window: the last 7 days.
Return up to 5 rows: Asset | What changed | Source link | Date on the source.
If you did not open the source, write UNVERIFIED.
Stop. Do not draft an order.
Source check
For checking that each claim in a brief has a source you opened.
Check the brief I paste. Do not write a new idea.
For each claim, say OPENED or UNVERIFIED.
OPENED needs the source link and the date on that page.
If a claim has no link, mark it UNVERIFIED. Do not fill one in.
Do not add a buy, sell, or hold. Stop after the list.

Pre-trade check
For a pass or fail against rules you wrote, before any send.
Pre-trade check only. Do not send an order.
I will paste a plan and the rules. The plan has symbol, side, size, order type, limit or stop, and max loss.
Reply with each rule and PASS or FAIL, and the line you used.
If a field is missing, write MISSING and stop.
Do not change the size. Do not send.

Order text for the checker
For one paper order you paste into the checker yourself.
Turn the plan I paste into one order I can paste into a checker. Do not send it.
Include symbol, side, size, order type, limit, time in force, a stop, and a paper account.
If I did not give a field, write MISSING and do not guess it.
Return the text. I paste it into the checker.

Paper draft
For a paper draft you review. The agent does not send it.
Paper only. Do not use a live account.
Draft one order I can review: symbol, side, size, order type, price, time in force, and the max loss I already wrote.
Say which paper or sim host I named. If I did not name one, write NEED HOST and stop.
Do not send. I review the draft, then I decide.
HOST:
[paper or sim host I name]
MAX LOSS:
[number I wrote]

Paper journal
For a journal of a paper session, using only the notes you paste.
Journal this paper session. Do not treat the note as a forecast.
I will paste the plan, whether I followed each rule, and what I did after the fill.
Write one row per rule: followed or broken, the line from my note, and one checklist change.
Do not invent a fill. If I left a field blank, write NOT IN THE NOTE.
Do not tell me to trade.
NOTES:

Risk rules
For reading risk limits. The agent does not change the file.
Read the risk file I paste. Do not edit it. Do not propose a higher limit.
List max loss per trade, max loss per day, max open positions, symbols I never trade, whether live trading is off, and who holds the kill switch.
If a line is missing, write MISSING.
Stop. You do not write the file.

Kill switch and approval
For a kill-switch and approval check. The agent does not send.
Approval check. You do not send.
Before any order, answer these and stop:
1. Can you read a kill switch you are not allowed to write? If you cannot, write CANNOT SEE THE SWITCH and stop. If it is on, stop.
2. Is human approval required? If that rule is missing, write MISSING and stop.
3. Is this a paper order I will review? If I did not say paper, write NOT PAPER and stop.
Do not place the order. Do not turn the switch off.
Can these prompts send a live order?
No. Each block tells the agent to stop before a send. A prompt is not a control. If the agent has an order tool and you have allowed that action, the prompt can be ignored. Keep the kill switch where the agent can read it and cannot write it. Paste the order into Agent Order Check before you approve it.
Where do I check an order a prompt drafts?
Paste the order into Agent Order Check. The page says the check runs in your browser and the order is not sent. The public package is agent-order-check. Its README says the package does not place an order, and a pass says nothing about whether the trade is a good idea. Use paper before a live key.
Do these prompts name a broker?
No. These prompts do not name a broker. You name the paper or sim host, if you use one. Read the paper trading guide for what that host leaves out. This page does not pick a host. The kill switch stays where the agent can read it and cannot write it.
